Pendleton Wool is committed to “zero mill waste” meaning they send zero pounds of scrap to landfill.
Process
After going through seven pounds of scrap and carefully cutting, sorting and laying out one placemat at a time, a collection of 20, uniquely organized mats were sold at ReMade, an annual event getting students to consider alternate materials for everyday products.
March 10
Collectively, our junior studio held a show at Ideal, a local shop in Bellingham. Friends, family, locals joined us in celebrating our manufactured designs with materials shared to us from artists, companies, breweries, and independents near and far.
